The Admissions Committee has given full considerationto your Early Decision candidacy for the class entering September 2010.While we recognize the strengths in your application, we regret that weare unable to offer you admission at this time. However, we would liketo defer our final decision until we have reconsidered your applicationwithin the broader pool. This decision can happen at any time duringthe application cycle. In order to remain an active candidate for September2010, please email a letter to the Senior Associate Director ofAdmissions, Amanda Carlson, who will be your contact during thereconsideration process. You may reach her via email at abc101@columbia.edu.While we encourage you to establish contact early to let us know ofyour interest in remaining active, the reconsideration process willbegin on January 6, 2010 at the start of the Regular Decision reviewperiod. Amanda will assist you throughout the reconsideration processand facilitate any further communication with the Admissions Committee.
