看前辈们的帖子讨论,说so指代reported high marital satisfaction, 我想问 reported是前一句从句的谓语吧?,如果so从这里开始指代,那就是more后面跟了谓语?? 实在不解~望指教
report是从句的谓语,这里用so指代一个动作,so是有指代一个动作或一个短语的功能的,而it则不能。。。。。。而关于为什么those who retired后面不需要不出动词,有人认为是因为satisfaction是抽象名词,所以不能跟women 比较,不会构成歧义。。我不是很赞这个观点,我觉得,正是因为有了so才不需要补出动词的,因为比较的对象是一整个动作,不是一个名词所以才不会产生歧义,后面的those who retired显然只能是比较对象的主语,不会产生歧义。。。。 open to discuss
