几道语法题请教

Q1:

According to a survey of graduating medical students conducted by the Association of American Medical Colleges, minority graduates are nearly four times more likely than are other graduates in planning to practice in socioeconomically deprived areas.

答案是A，但是C为什么不对呢？顺便想问一下，这种比较题，什么情况下than后的比较对象需要加动词，如A选项，什么情况下不需要，如C？

先说第一道答案应该是C
times与than不会在一起的

什么时候than后面需要加动词？当有歧义的时候要加，举例：
• Wrong: I like cheese more than Yvette. 有歧义，是我更喜欢Yvette这个人而不喜欢cheese，还是Yvette比我更喜欢cheese？也就是说，歧义来自于Yvette与I平行，还是Yvette与cheese平行

为了避免歧义，可改成下面两个句子：

• I like cheese more than Yvette does. （Yvette与I平行）
• I like cheese more than I do Yvette. （Yvette与cheese平行）

than前面有两个名词，而than后面只有一个名词，所以就会引发歧义；

像下面这个句子就没有歧义
I run faster than you. 因为you只能和I 对应；就没必要写成I run faster than you do

第二题 D选项
with the unemployment rate that has remained well below that of the other three countries.
with是介词，后面跟名词，表示对with前面的内容补充说明，而E中and前后并列；将经济和失业率写作并列更合逻辑；

第三题，indicate sth as sth的用法是错误的；
请参照Manhattan SC分册第五版 161页关于indicate的idioms

Q1, 选C是对的，A是错误的。likely后跟不定式。这道题不是选最正确的，而是选相对于比较好的，C有点问题，比如有人说plan to 什么的，但是plan on是表示按计划去做某事，plan to是计划去做某事，其次, A中four times more likely than are other graduates = 5 times

Q24, 用with的话，逻辑完全错误……economy怎么with ER

Q36, acquiring language 明显和后面的 thinking, and emotional skills 无法并列
