[求助]急~~求黄皮OG几道不懂的题~帮帮忙吧

 下面是几道我不太明白的题目，对我很重要，希望大家帮帮忙吧~~

答案就是EXTENDING,OG给的解释是：the extending 和 spawned 是平行的。。。。。不太明白？明明是不同的时态啊？？我就是想问一下，该怎么理解这里的平行？是不是从意思上来理解？这种植物是一直extending？虽然老师是讲过不能肤浅的理解平行就是过去分词对过去分词，但是这里的平行总有理由吧，拜托解释一下吧~~~~总而言之就是比较晕。NN们帮帮忙~~

正确答案就是原文的话，我比较了一下选项A和C，不明白C中的instead to come 和原文的instead come有什么区别呢？另外OG对于C选项的解释还有一点就是：many had feared必须放在earlier in the year之前，这是为什么呢？？

我看见OG上的解释是说，E中的it 指代owning...这个短语，是正确的用法，E是正确答案，可是我记得xdf的老师说任何代词都不能指代前面整件事情，和这道题岂不是矛盾了吗？

谢谢你的回答啊，就是对于45题你好像看错题目了，原题给的是instead to吧。。。。。所以我还是没太理解。。。

另外，确实是手打的，因为我在论坛找了好久，黄皮的OG只有PDF版的，而且还加密了，还不能打印的，我就只能手打了~~泪奔~~
