prep 一道语法，有关分词修饰的问题

一直搞不太清楚那种有逗号分隔的分词放在句尾是表伴随还是修饰前面紧挨着的名词，一直是根据句子意思判断的，大家看这道题，答案是C，那么circling是修饰Jupiter还是修饰“most of them”抑或修饰planet？我个人倾向于跳跃修饰most of them。请大家指点！
