求教2题PREP模考里的语法题。。。

答案是C，请教的问题是，原题的意思应该是有四分之一的店业绩不好，所以要关了这些店。C的理解似乎是它要关了四分一的店，因为它（本身）的业绩不好。为什么还是这个答案呢？或者是我的理解错误，请NN们解答一下。

我原来选的是E，因为觉得它没有歧义，也是剩下答案里相较来说正确的一个了，请NN也指点一下它的错误。

另一题：

Sales of wines declined in the late 1980s, but they began to grow again after the 1991 report that linked moderate consumption of alcohol, and particularly of red wine, with a reduced risk of heart disease.

这题的正确答案就是画线部分，我的疑问是，在原句中的插入语里，那个and起什么作用的啊？我总觉得它是冗余且错误的。有没有NN能帮忙解答一下，万分感谢。

第一题也感觉有点怪，A里面是store还是stores? 如果是store的话就不对了
E的话such that up to这个表述很奇怪，好像不合语法，而且having动名词显得比较啰嗦
至于原题的逻辑意思，我觉得C可能更准确吧，连锁店因为销售量不行而需要关闭四分之一的店，这样表述更合逻辑，不过还是有点牵强。。。如果A是store的话感觉也对。。

第二题and连接的应该是两个平行结构吧，of alcohol和of red wine，语法上应该没有什么错，后面的of没有的话就不用and了，变成particularly red wine，不知道其他选项是什么，可能比较下来这个最好吧
