看到下面的说法觉得更有道理，并不像斑竹说的 media一定是复数：（

Media can be both singular or plural
Singular - when we want to refer to a specific media, e.g. internet
Plural - This means Media in general and includes all types like print, internet, TV, etc..
Media is a collective noun.

当然了 在本句中media是泛指，所以要用复数。

再看看这个吧：

（1）ing分词在句首，看逗号后面的主语是否与这个ing分词逻辑含义想通（yes), 最关键的是第三句话（划线后面的那句话）起始一个 but，肯定平行并列，but后面的主语they (很关键，在解题中起到最关键的判断作用）要求前面划线部分的主语要用复数！（即media后面的has要用复数形式，同时，可以判断media在此也是复数/即使不知道或者不确定media是复数也铁定了根据they来判断）。

（2）这样只剩下CD两个选项，D 中的focus后面没有on 排除。（这个focus on的判断其实根据前三词/后三词就很容易看出来）。

或者其实另外的思路也很快能够解题：

（1）直接看选项差异，扫一眼就知道句尾focus和focus on肯定有区别（前三词/后三词——忘记论坛中的那位NN说的了 抱歉 反正觉得选项区分明显的时候还是很管用的），直接排除AD

(2)剩下 BCE：B analyses 复数与has单数不配；D their与has不配。

（3）最后选C。
