答案是A，我也同意，只是OG对E选项的解释我不明白
OG是这样解释的：the verb phrases "to have begun" and "has been expanding" both reference the same subject of the clause,"universe",and therefore need to be parallel. 如果是这样的话那么A选项也存在这样的问题呀。。
个人感觉E选项的错误是have begun这个时态错了，应该是过去时，而且holds the universe to have begun 这种表达方式wordy and ambiguous。。
