我当时通过排除法选的e，不过现在还不太明白for having。。。with在句子结构中的地位，总觉得看上去很别扭，nn指点一下，先谢啦！

个人觉得，with their odometers disconnected独立主格作定语修饰cars

但我还有不明白，以前老觉得do sth for doing 这种结构不太好，大都改成to do 表目的了

还有就是，如果with 是独立主格，with前是不是该有个逗号呢？

在GMAT语法中，的确有一个to do 优于 for doing的说法。但是这题for 后面就是跟一个名词性质的东西，你没法用to do 去代替什么。另外就是pay.. for ...的结构。

with 结构前可以不用逗号。
