关于GWD-1-Q2的A of B in C的问题

介词短语的修饰问题

比如：A of B in C.

in C有没有可能修饰有点远的A，修饰A和修饰B的优先级是不是相等。抑或是in C只会修饰B？（介词短语就近修饰）

比如GWD-1-Q2这题的B选项：

By merging its two publishing divisions, the company will increase their share of the country’s $21 billion book market from 6 percent to 10 percent, a market ranging from obscure textbooks to mass-market paperbacks.

另外反对B的还有一个理由就是，which不仅仅可能指market，还可能指share.（对于指代country这点逻辑上是不可能的

）

看到一个句子...是能够验证我的想法的：A of B at/in  sth.里面后面的at/in sth.修饰的是A

唯一不足的是at work是固定搭配：起作用...不知道对修饰对象会不会有影响而颠覆了修饰规律...(头疼或许表达不清见谅)

B中应该用...book market of the country...，用in本身就是一个错误，不必计较。另外，which定语从句是否一定要就近修饰？实际使用中只要不会引起岐意就可以隔词修饰，美语本来就是这么灵活的。但是这里需要注意，在GMAT考试中，ETS因推崇清晰表达故比较喜欢就近修饰，以免产生歧意，因此，我们需要就近理解它的修饰意思。

E中to 10 percent from 6 percent其实是比较晦涩的，不过，这样用不影响意思的表达和语法结构，而后面部分从结构到意思都没错，所以，E就是正确答案了。
