OG上的解释是：Neanderthals “disappeared”, the verb describingtheir apparent abilities cannot be present tense, so “as equipped” must bechanged to “to have been equipped”。但是我不懂， to have been 的用法，为什么要这么用呢？ have been 不是说一直延续到现在吗？难道Neanderthals现在还是这样？

求解答！！谢谢·-·

并不是 to have been 的用法，而是 appear to do 的用法。
