答案是B, 但是我觉得后面后面并列的是the reason, the use and the meaning, 所以不知道为什么不可以用复数？

主语是what is much more difficult to determine，为单数

the reason, the use and the meaning是表语

英语中要求主谓一致，没有要求谓、表一致

找部语法书看看就清楚了

Shall I use Remain or Remains?
