B、C、D我都知道是错的，但是就A跟D不了解，答案说E是湖跟湖的比较，所以错，而A是两湖水量的比较
但我觉得两个选项都是湖跟湖的比较，请教大家，这两个选项从哪可以看出区别呢？

话说我一上来也是选E的，但是我明白那个比较对象问题了。。。

把more than all the North American Great Lakes combined还原，
就变成 *** is more than all the......就是说***比较多
在这里只能是水量比较多，不能是湖比较多，因为一共就一条湖，不可能比的。。。 E就是错在比了不可能比的东西，一条湖比***多，没逻辑。。。

还是不太清楚，有大牛能清楚地写一下，文中到底是什么跟什么在比较吗？

做题的时候就感觉A选项中可能存在比较对象不对等，结果把A排除了，囧。。。
