Acrobat or word? both are fine. this kind of minor detail could rarely do any contribution.

Perhaps you don't need to worry about the format. Some application systems will transform the format to .pdf automatically.

In my personal experience, word and acrobat formats are both ok. Embark will switch your resume to acrobat automatically whatever format you are using.(Word or acrobat)
