prep1-102 关于it的指代问题

知道大家讨论了，但是从来没人对it 的指代问题做个解释的?

答案C的it  和原文的it(红色标注)不是很明显的指代不清么?请赐教..

这里的it是形式主语,所以不存在指代的问题. 比如 It is possible for sb to do sth.

句子还原后应该是made capture material possible for high-definition digital video cameras

对于it作形式宾语的问题，我没有异议。

在看prep解释时，看到很好的总结，其中有一点疑问：

Prep102
形式宾语，用it作形式宾语，把真正的宾语放到句子后部去，三种用法：
1）代词不定式-he makes it a rule to give short speeches
2) 代表that 引起的从句（that有时省略）he kept it quiet that he was dead
3) 代表连接代词引起的从句 He soon made it clear why he had asked for a conference

我的问题是：第２点里面提到的that有时省略，在prep里或者其他题目中是否有举例？我觉得遇到这种情况可能不太好判断啊，很可能看句子就晕掉了。比如，这里的例句he kept it quiet that he was dead,如果把that去掉，还是可以看出来的，但是若遇到长难句就不好说了。
