OG/SC 88, answer E "unrealistic enough so as to constitute" is unidiomatic because "enough so as to" is unidiomatic, not because "so as to" is unidiomatic, 这里只不过碰巧 so as to 用在一个错误的习惯用语中，

OG/SC 171, In 1527 King Henry VIII sought to have his marriage to Queen Catherine annulled so as to marry Anne Boleyn.
answer A "so as to marry" 错了，同样，不是因为so as to 错了，而是因为前面有两个人造成"to marry ..." 的使动者歧义，如果这句改成 “In 1527 King Henry VIII terminated his marriage so as to marry Anne Boleyn.“ 我想 so as to 应该没有问题

所以，我觉得不能教条，不能因为ETS的正确答案中没有出现过'so as to' 就觉得 所有用“so as to"的地方都不对。

另外：'they' - 的指代的确，按照ETS的变态理论，可以造成歧义，但是ETS的另外一条宝典是，you have to select the 'best' answer - not the 100%-correct-conforming-to-all-rules answer.
