[求助]请教蓝皮书P34 第8题

B which is 14 percent higher than it was the previous year

C 14 percent higher than the previous year's figure

D an amount that is 14 percent more than the previous year

E an amount that is 14 percent higher than the previous year's figure

请问C和E（答案）相比，错在什么地方？A B 中用which 从句是不是可以的？

我觉得因为是

C选项： 14 percent higher than the previous year's figure 。than 前后比较的对象分别是14 percent （数量词）和figure （名词），不是同一种词性，所以没有可比性。

E选项：an amount that is 14 percent higher than the previous year's figure。THAN前后的比较对象是amount 和 figure， 同位表示数字（量）的名词，所以可以比较。

我记得白勇的语法书里讲过，which 在做非限定性定语从句的时候，修饰逗号前离他最近的名词，但是我在OG12里找到了道比较合适的题去印证他 OG12第86题：

The results of the company's cost-cutting measures are evident in its profits,which have increased 5 percent during the first 3 months of this year after falling over the last two years. 很明显which修饰的是profits.

除了这个原因，我想

A选项： which is 14 percent more than
        the previous year。than前后没有可比性，词性不一样吧

B which is 14 percent higher than it was the previous year。 后面的it was the previous year表达不是很清楚，如果说it 指代的是数字的话，翻译过来就是：某数字是前年，明显也是不对的～～

但是我觉得B中than it was the previous year不能翻译为它是前年，the previous year在这里应该是个时间状语，而不是was的表语。这样写应该是没有问题的。还有新东方老师说过which引导的定语从句可以跳跃修饰，虽然修饰最近的名词最好，但不是必须的。所以对B选项我还是很疑惑。
