(E) as well as the chilling effects of terrorist activity that persists不简洁
persistent terrorist activity 会不会有歧义？就是 persistent A B, 到底是修饰A呢，还是修饰B呢。因为GMAT语法似乎老有adj AB, 或者adj A of B 的含糊情况。
effect为什么改成复数了？并列的其他项都是a什么什么的，不需要单数和前面的一致吗。这样平行没有问题吗？、

实话说，我真没看出来歧义的可能性。。。解释一下怎么歧义法呢？
关于effect(s)，我不想做牵强的解释，不过既然不是做题点，无视不就好了。。。
