My question is :

为什么分词组成的修饰间没有用连词“and ”连接起来呢？不是并列修饰吗？

我记得 prep 79也是这种用法。

不同修饰层次上的分词修饰结构之间不要加 and。低层次的修饰结构可以直接当做插入结构被省去。

如果将，called the taste pore，看作是插入语而省去时，poking through the opening, located at the...同时修饰之前的projections时岂不是没有连词，而不同分词修饰一个对象时是需要有脸此连接的???

不好意思。回答的草率了，called应该是用来修饰 opening 的，而located也是是用来修饰 opening的
其实两个修饰处于不同层次一个主，一个次，不用加and
