我最近联系了一个教授，发了简历给他看后，收到了他的一些回音：

第一封：Your background looks great and I'd like to ask and encourage you to apply. I will be able to offer you a RA with supplement funding. lease indicate that you wants study under my supervision. What semester will you apply for , fall 09 or spring 10? If for fall 09, you need to apply online and submit all the required documents ASAP! A GRE or GMAT score is required and of course TOEFL score.Please feel free to write to me!

第二封：Thank you for your email and I am so pleased to know that you would like to come over there to study your Ph.D. It is a great program with great support. You will enjoy here! ...

第三封：I am so glad to know that you have determined for your Ph.D. study at our school and I will be more than happy to work with you...

烦请大家帮我参考一下，跟这位教授读Ph.D.的可能性。

好奇他为啥会问你是申09 fall的呢？如果是最近发的邮件，09 fall的online application一般不都结束了么？

I don't have TOFEL and GMAT scores at present. I'm preparing for the Spring admission in 2010.
