这个题我选了D,我觉得hoped和continued是并列的关系，选B的话hoping是伴随状语呢，还是continue hoping的结果啊？另外continue doing 和continue on doing 都可以吧

这样的话仅仅用continue 的用法就可以排除而选出B了
