不知道今天是怎么了，死活上不了轨道，以下是大全216

1.        Computers are becoming faster, more powerful, and more reliable, and so too are modems, they are the devices to allow two or more computers to share information over regular telephone lines.

(B) so too are modems, the devices that allow

(C) so too modems, the devices allowing

(D) also modems, they are the devices that allow（B）

(E) also modems, which are the devices to allow

这里为什么C不可以呢？我觉得C完全可以是so too后面跟的be动词部分省去，从而同前句平行，

看了前面的帖子，觉得如果非要说只有so  too are modems才和computers平行，那我想按照GMAC简洁性的原则这里C怎么也不能算作不优啊

请大牛们帮忙！！！
