真的很难理解为什么E是答案。

is owned by an individual or individuals 好像破坏了句子的整体结构啊！？请指教！

楼主你看，A和B是不破坏结构的表达。但是语法上和修饰上错误严重。

A. 1、less用来修饰units，2.having结构紧贴individuals，变成修饰individual or individuals

B. with结构紧贴individuals own，所以变成修饰individuals。

原句的结构既然make nonsense了，我们只能去改了。

C，D, E就是在比较哪一个parrellism用得更好。

C 第一个分句中，首先是no commercial room的位置不好，之前也不需要逗号，最好改用and。第二个分句中：and之前不要逗号。

D 同样，no commercial room 的位置不好，之前也不需要逗号,最好改用and。第二个分句，问题不大，但最好还是省去it。

E 的表达最好了定语从句中三个动词结构并列 1、has.... 2 is owned 3.has no

奥！豁然开朗！好解！

刚开始找平行，看到1.has.... 2. is owned 3.has no,第一反应是把两个has放近，所以觉着2.is owned有点碍眼。可确实如你所说，比较CDE, E是最好的了。
