through the night, but as they sipped their coffee the next morning, she noticed that he seemed disoriented.

划线我已经把正确的选项填进去了, 只是想请问一下这里的they 和 their 分别表示谁阿?

是否their 表示他们夫妻俩, they 是另外的人? (把他们的咖啡喝了)

they和their只有可能指代前面提到的couple. 两个代词指代一致.
