Although the manager agreed to a more flexible work schedule, he said that it must be posted on the bulletin board so that both management and labor will know what everyone is assigned to do.

A) 同上面的画线部分一样

自由的疑问是：A为什么对啊！！！明显的黑体字部分will 和is同前面的主句的过去时态不一致啊！！！不明白，大家帮个忙，谢谢

个人认为，a more flexible work schedule 表示以后的客观情况。

引诉动词（这里是said）为过去式时，must在间接引语中可以用：must, had to, would have to。所以D看来也是正确的。
！！但是，如果间接引语中动词所表示的动作或状态说话时仍在继续，则动词形式可以不变。所以A也是可以的。
为什么选A不选D, 因为A用it指代a more flexible work schedule,比D用the schedule简洁。而且A更清楚的表明该动作说话时仍在继续。请仔细体会A和D的细微差别。

2. (B) he said it had to be posted on the bulletin board so that both management and labor knows what everyone is (knows 错， had to 和 is的时态不对应, that不应该省略)
(C) he said that they would have to post the assignments on the bulletin board so that management and labor knew what everyone was (they 没有指代对象,the assignments 出现的很奇怪)
(E) saying that the schedule had to be posted on the bulletin board so that both management and labor would know what everyone had been(句子不完整)

我觉得你们的讨论偏离了ETS的思路了
应该通过5个选项的比较来排除错误选项
这样深究出来的语法思路和ETS的考试思路没有统一性
很费时间
可能你英语能力提高了
但是对GMAT考试作题的正确率却没有帮助。
个人的一点建议

做了很多题，也仔细分析了它们，但正确率却不见提高。苦恼。

我觉得你们的误区就在于太过仔细了
真的
具体讲我怕一时半会这样讲不清楚
如果是面对面可能会好一点的。
我看了一些语法区提问的帖子确实觉得有些地方有点问题
当然这是我的个人观点。。。。
我在困境区贴了个帖子大家可以去看看也许有点帮助
