accounting phd申请的personal statment

I'm sorry that my major is not accounting but finance, I know little about ur major. 

There are 2 way u can get the paper u interested in, one is ask ur acct prof's opinions, which paper u should read,and try to communicate with them as much as possible, including asking for RL, school selection, and revising ur PS.

 The other is u could search on SSRN and input some key words which u interested in such as " financial analyst" to see some working paper,but this way may not be that efficient since u don't know which working paper is good or bad, but at least it could give u a better understanding of what people are doing now in this area. Read abstract is enough except u are really interested in some topics.

Last, don't put too much energy on ur PS,nobody really care what u really interested in, except that u have done a lot of reasearch in this area.just make sure it is fault-free and naive-free. U may also find some useful information from my previous post: 申请finance phd基本条件
