58. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Businesses should do anything they can to make a profit. Use specific reasons and examples to support your position.

Some people might agree that one of most important aim of enterprise is to pursue the

biggest profit, whatever the enterprise do, others might have different opinions, such as

pursue the biggest profit for stock-holders or do some business positive. However, in my opinion, this assertion is partly true as our society's economical system is market economy, we also should take business moral, market order and social responsibility into account.

Every business enterprise should have the business moral, this is one of rules for all business activity, which will benefit enterprise as individual and society as a whole. Take

recent news for example, Sanlu milk power, which is one of the most popular milk power

brand in China, was found some toxic chemical material in it, which will cause bad disease

in baby's body and brain. This brand actually exist for many years and be eaten by many

generation. Nowadays, this shocking founding demage national check-free product and this trust will never return again.

Another aspect that company should obey is market order, in other words, company should do things which obey the rules and follow the regulations. For examples, smuggle goods, sell drugs, people trend, money wash, which have a vast profit space, but these kind of international trend is forbidden, which will harm the other country's ecomony and other people. so business should not do things which violate the laws, regulations.

Social responsibility is also a big consideration for company to think about. Some enterprise, especially some monopolized enterprise gain huge profit from the market ,

also do some demage to the environment, such as BP, China oil, China Mobile. There should do some goods, for example, developing new energy, support education in village, focus on the development of youth, or something like this, as return. The society give them the power and profit, they should take more responsibility.

In conclusion, profit is one of target for company to pursue, which will benefit our themselves, enterprise, and society. At the same time, businesses should follow some

moral to form a healthy circle, abey some regulations to develop in a good environment.
