请问这道题为什么选A不选B呢，B的时态为什么不对呢？我的理解是elephant earning是在what she then earned 之前发生的，所以就过去完成时~~~

好像不应该用B中的过去完成进行时。。。

LS两位不能用这样的依据做题，并且实际情况是很多题目的过去完成时都是正确的，无论是大全还是GWD都能找到很多例子。

这题LZ需要去加强的是定语从句和现在分词后置修饰的区别，还有完成进行时的用法这两个语法点。版上有很多详细的介绍，找一下，解决了考试再遇到就没问题了。
