Q4:

A new hair-growing drug is being sold for three times the price, per milligram, as the drug’s maker charges for another product with the same active ingredient.

我对此题目的理解是：一种新的头发生长药剂按毫克卖价是另一种使用相同成分的药剂价格的三倍。

我觉得有比较的含义，为什么这里不能用AS充当比较的连词呢？就是觉得挑不出A的错，其实看答案也觉得C说的挺通顺的。（找到一种解释：amy_lyy曾说过：A.B，as前后结构不对称，就是比较时必须为as(adv.)... as(conj.) ..., not so/as...as..连用，但是有例句：The population of his city is twice as largeas that of mine.我糊涂了（连夜翻找答案，可能营养供应不足）这里的比较也没有一定是要as...as啊

或者AS能够作为方式状语从句出现么？大家能帮我看看对么？我AS实在没学好。。。）

顶下，还有人说three times...as 不可以,为什么不可以呢?

是不是说新东方总结

1.倍数 + as + adj. + as

2.倍数 + adjer. + than

3.倍数 + that/those + of

4.倍数 + n.(比较的方面)+ of

可以不是也有这样的正确句子(引自搜索引擎的AS用法小结)The population of his city is twice as largeas that of mine.

是否是因为此用法不规范呢??请求给点指点吧,,脑子彻底糊涂和眩晕了..

I can't find any support for A. Let's take a look at your example.

The population of his city is twice as large as that of mine.

That's the as....as structure right there.

The answer lies between C and D.

C. A drug is being sold 3 times the price that the maker charges for another product.

D. A drug is being sold 3 times the price of what the maker charges for another product.

In C, "that the maker charges for another product" modifies "price". So, C actually is:

C. A drug is being sold 3 times the price.

In D, prep. "of" + what ... a little bit long.

Between those two, I incline to C. However, the following examples illustrates both usage. With that being said, you should not devote more time to this issue.
