这道题选E，请问C有什么不对吗？我觉得C和E中that前面的句子都是插入语，请问是否是这样的？两个豆省略了比动词，但是C为什么是错的呢？

引子——
这个题让我懂了so……so……that也是可用句型
so后面带that的原因，两个原因并列，是 so……so……that好，还是so……and……，that好？
分析题的话——
首先，作者想表达的是两个原因，由此，that blablabla
于是，表达出来的句型是上面的哪一个？
实践：记得大全里有个题目，是“他怎么怎么了，因为A和B”句型是……that because and that because。根据类比我觉得so……so……that句型好。
理论：C不可能是插入语。他有完整的主谓宾，不是独立主格结构，不是分词结构，没有连词，是一个完整的独立句子，这里还用了逗号，那么that都有可能是形容这个独立句子的从句了。
不知道这样对不对呢~

C并不是完整的句子，persistent是形容词，不是动词。所以是没有谓语的。

我理解的是E可能第二个so是副词，我们平时都表达so good a girl，和E选项中第二个句子结构相似，所以可能E是对的，用两个so表示两个原因，请其他大牛指点。

嗯，我觉得这是倒装，就是Frances Perkins’ investigations of the garment industry were So dogged,后面也是一个倒装，然后那个that说的是so....that

her lobbying for wage and hour reform persistent 我觉得这个也是引导出that的原因，也要加so的，这里没有，是其一，其二是平行的原因。
