1、noted后是否应紧跟that从句，只不过因为句子长才放在了后面？
2、maldistribution后面部分该如何翻译呢？

个人意见：
   1. 如你所说的那种表达，要求是如果将that后的句子提前，不改变句子意思
      这里我觉得如果将that后的句子和as a humorous example of income maldistribution 换个位置，就明显感觉读的不是很清楚，因此这样用。

   2。在Whipsnade Zoo 被小孩子骑（着玩）的大象每年赚的钱和她当时作为director of adult education for London.赚的一样多

我以前没见过这样的表述（赚的钱一样多）！
was earning annually exactly what she then earned还是背下来比较好！
