但是这道题的OG解释说 C D 选项的IT 都可以指代 ALGERIA 和 strait
their grip on Algeria was not ever secure if they did not hold it 其实本身也是条件从句
为什么不能优先指代到主句中ALGEIA 虽然这样想这道题也作对了 但是为什么还可以指代那个strait 那个strait 可是外面一个大主句的内容·····不是可以优先么·
很confused 就是对这种很多层主从句中的代词搞混
