这一题我也错选E。但是事后想想E的确有问题。 我觉得seemingly没有错。试想如果把seemingly换成seeming，那么seeming和inescapable同时修饰conclusion，这是矛盾的。 我觉得would have有问题。这句话since ----, seemingly inescapable conclusion is that ----至少在作者看来是顺理成章的事，应该不需要用虚拟来否定结论的。 但正确答案c中的“conclusion seems inescapable”我感觉很不爽，我头脑中就只有it/sb. seems +adj.，怎么还有sth. seems+adj.呢？ 希望进一步指正！！
