as A do, B do not结构的问题

想问一下 as A do, B do not这样的结构是否是在一定条件下是可以出现的？这个问题困惑了我很久

我以前的理解是，这个形式就是错误的，因为“像A做了，而B没做”这种说法本身就是矛盾的，但是看到下面这道题，又看到了解释，所以以前的认识有些颠覆。

Because young children do not organize their attention or perceptions systematically, like adults, they may notice and remember details that their elders ignore.

这道题as与like的那个帖子里，对答案还有争论，主要在B和D上。如果这个 as A do, B do not结构是可以出现，那么下面这道题，真正的错误原因就是，句子形式没有表达句子要表达的意思？而不是句子本身的形式是错误的？
