这里it 指attempt ，parallel the noun enzymes什么意思啊？觉得attempt的意思是the production of enzymes，理解对么？

搜索过了的，可是还是有点不懂，那个attempt是指什么？

power眼花了：attempt和enzymes对等。attempt说明enzymes~和汉语不太一样，不太好翻译。

名词和动词是不能对等的。也就是"名词 are 名词 to do" 不能“名词 are doing(是动名词，非进行时) to do”

逻辑意思对等。

   哦，对，tianwan兄和guan兄说的是，应该是enzymes和attempt

the production of enzymes that are the organism’s attempt…, 这里谓语使用are, 所以清楚指出that从句修饰的对象是enzymes, 而不是the production, 如是修饰 the production应用 that is …

并列问题, 其实以ETS解释的角度, 重点在名词对名词, 动名词对动名词(trying), 无论是production或enzymes和attempt 平衡, 以词性而言是相同的, 但如同上一点提到的, 本题是that从句修饰enzymes, 所以是enzymes平衡attempt

另外, render是动词(谓语)和metabolize平衡, 不是attempt, 还原的原句参考如下:
