个人意见，D中用了不推荐使用的被动语态，而且和后面句子中的it搭配也有些啰唆。

the tomato 不能做was suspicious 的逻辑主语，同时后面的it表达罗嗦。。

C主要还是and it was这个不对。

连起来看and it was assumed it had poisonous properties because of its relationship to deadly nightshade.是不是很累赘呢？？
