Sorry guys, i dont have my laptop with me, so i can only type english here.
I've been really REALLY confused lately cos of my situation here.
k, to start off, a lil bit about myself. I finished my high school and uni. in Toronto and have been working for like a year and half now. so right now, my original plan was to go for my MBA this year and get it done before 27. However, things are not working too well here. yeah, as you might've guessed, i didnt get into my top schools.
so now i can either stay in Canada and work for few years and reapply, or i go take the offer that I got right now and stick with my original plan, but the only concern is that i dont know if my 2 years of time and money will be well spent by going to a mediocre school.
SO do you guys think that i should wait out for a lil bit and reapply or i should just go for my MBA right now before i am getting too old
well, to LS, we arent in the same catogry, i mean, with your W/E, you can probbly get in a way much better school than i do. as for me right now, I just wanna grab a MBA degree so i can get a head start in my career. Dont know if that's the right mentality, so drop me a line if you have something in mind that you wanna share.
ps: school that i got in so far : miami. Thank you
I would say wait a few more years and only go to the top schools. Only the best schools are worth of your money and time. Think about it. Even the tops schools are sort of like a commodidy. Each year, there are more than 5,000 MBA graduate from so called the top ten. So if you would like to gain an edge in the post MBA career, you have to get in the best schools.
