请教两道gwd题-关于as adj as后面的省略和补出问题

答案是E, 答案中加入了what，看了前人的解释，有人说than可以当作than what使用，可以身略what, 但是as 没有这种功能，所以要补出what. 可是对比上面一提，这种说法站不出脚啊。

那么，如果上面的一道题是对的， 下面的一道题应该酒没有答案了。

有谁能给解惑一下？

不必拘泥于细节吧，第二题考的是than in any other month这个点，有这个点就可以找出答案了，找出考点才是关键的，其余部分的瑕疵不要太执着了，GMAT本来就不是找全对的句子，而是找“最对”或者“错最少”的句子。冗余修辞这个错误经常就是用在这的，题外话了。
