There may be by one or two disadvantages to attend college or university, however, I believe that there are far more advantages. My arguments for this point are listed as follows.

  Fist of all, perhaps one disadvantage to attend university is that we lose the chance to gain more work experiences in the society and the money from work which can afford our daily life. Another drawback to attend college involves the possibility that we become mature more quickly.

  Even though there may be one or two disadvantages to attend college, the advantages far outweigh them. The main reason for my propensity for attending college or university is that we can gain more knowledge than if not. We learn many subjects which is useful for our future life in the university. And it is the best time for us to gain knowledge when we are at the age of 18 to 25.

  Another reason for my inclination for attending college or university is that we can make friends with the college students and teachers who can treat you as a real friend in the following days. The friendship with the classmates and teachers is the most valuable relationship which is more frank than that is in the society. Maybe some years later, when you meet with your classmates in the university who has already been the president of the US, you will find it is a wisest choice to attend the university.

 The third reason for my point is that it is a prepare period for us to enter the society when we are in college or university. In the college, we will learn not only the knowledge but also the way we treat with others. We can know a couple of things we do not care in the high school which is helpful for our career in the future. It is better than that if we do not have this transitional period.

 In a word, in spite of the fact that there may be a couple of disadvantages to attend college or university, I feel that the advantages are more obvious. Taking into account of all these factors, we may reach the conclusion that attending university is a wise thing for you to do.
