Pretty strange and it's not traditional way of LBS interview.

Anyway, if you are interested in IBD after your MBA/MiF, it will help cause the interviews will be almost the same.

I don't know whether the interview style had to do with my unique background. I am one of those with no finance experience, short FT (2 years) but otherwise strong in most other areas.

That's why he asked you how to value a company.

I do suggest that candidates from non-finance area prepare for such questions (read CFA etc).

Since MiF is Masters in Finance.
