Do you agree or disagree with following statement? All students should be required to study art and music in secondary school. Use specific reasons to support your answers.

Many people hold the bias attitudes toward art and music, and consider those subjects as uselessness to students. Do music and art lose their importance in high school or even the nowadays society? In my view, I do not agree with that. I think all the students should be study art and music in secondary school and the reasons are illustrate as follows.

My first reason is music and art can be a very significant stepping stone to know more about the foreign culture. In high school which is without music and art is hard to teach the foreign culture vividly. For example, when a teacher try to describe an African tribe’s enthusiastic culture,  there will be better for students to understand this culture by showing the music they played  rather than several  pages boiling text descript ion.

Another reason is students can gain the relaxation and pleasance by taking the arts and music. One famous mental analysis magazine did a research about the contribution of music and arts to the students, they surprise figure out that students will have more rest and enjoyment by listening music or drawing a picture. Therefore, it is necessary to add some art and music courses among students’ busy schedule.

Finally, music and arts also play the important roles after they graduated from high school. These subjects will give a lot of aids to the people who attended to formal social occasion.  For examples, when you are called to attend to your company’s ball, the arts and music can be the good social talking topics. These topics will give your boss and your clients a nice first impression about you.

In conclusion, not only knowing more about foreign culture, not only giving you a opportunity to relax and have fun, also the arts and music give the students a better future to build their dream. Thus, I think all students should be required to study art and music in secondary school.
