[求助] OG11_002 官方解释请教

在OG11的第二题中（惭愧，刚开始复习就有问题了,）：

Of all the vast  tides of migration that have swept through history, maybe none is more concentrated as the wave that brought 12 million immigrants onto American shores in little more than three decades.

A. may be none is more concentrated as

B. it may be that none is more concentrated as

C. perhaps it is none that is more concentrated than

D. maybe it is none that was more concentrated than

E. perhaps none was more concentrated than

=> E

官方有一条解释“句子的第二部分（也就是wave的部分）中是用了过去时 brought，所以比较结构的第一部分（也就是划线部分）中也必须要用过去时”

此条不明白的很。如果我说一句：“At present, nobody is  taller than the man who was dead in 1987 ”难道不符合语法？第二个对比部分中的定语从句应该只是说明了第二个部分为过去时，怎么能限制第一个呢？

我个人认为限制这个“Was”的，乃是第一句中的“Of......have swept through history".

请老师们不吝赐教。

1,Of all the vast  tides of migration that have swept through history,这说的是过去的事，应该用过去式，和你举的例子两回事。

2,退一步讲，就算用现在时，你打算选什么？没有合适的选项。

个人理解：

比较的两个对象none和wave都属于移民潮的历史，其中一个用了一般过去时，另一个自然也用一般过去时。
