答案是D,解释说this comparison is clear and unambiguous．

但是我把答案带入到题干后，看不懂啊！这个是不是倒装+省略啊？

所以如果原句写完应该是：

I of B were isolated from contact with Europeans longer than Aleuts or I of North Pacific and northern Alaska were isolated from contact with Europeans

是吗?

但是这样，A is longer than B,这个be动词就少了一个啊？因为前面整个句子我当他是A，后面整个倒装结构我当他是B，那这个联系A跟B的比较的be动词哪去了呢？

好了，脑子终于绕过来了...

其实就是后面省略了再一次的 (isolated from contact with Europeans)，然后因为鬼Aleuts or Inuits of the North Pacific and northern Alaska太长，所以来了个倒装...
