Currently, a controversial about whether the Internet provides people with a lot of valuable information or the information provided by the internet creates problem is hotly debated. To be frank, I think both of them are right. However, as far as I am concerned, I prefer the statement that the Internet provides people with a lot of valuable information.
While in the past, people searched information in the libraries, drafts and tapes. Those methods of searching are somehow a waste of time and resources. Consider, can you bear reading a book with 1000 page just for searching a minor point, can you stand listening a tape with 3 hours just for gaining diminish knowledge? However, the internet has been playing an increasingly vital role in searching the internet. Nowadays, people just need to search their essential information by opening Google or Baidu and entering their requirement, the cited pages of the theories, the analysis of a statement, these information will suddenly appear on the screen.
The widely use of the internet has created a new way to communicate, and of course, this new way is extrodinary popular among young people, that is the spread of BLOG and the instant messagers like QQ and MSN. These way of communications enhance the academic relationship between scholars, enhance the commercial relationship between businessmen, enhance the entertainment relationship between popstars. It is, of course, the speard of the valuable information that become the catalyst of these promotes. Hence, internet accelerate the communication between each others, additionally provide a great many information.
Admittedly, there are massive shortcomings about the Internet. The violent crimes on campus was due to the widespeard of the baleful information, the erotical action in the society was leaded to by the widespeard of those squalid information. Consider, after reading those news about the crimes due to the information, do you think that the internet which create access to so much information finally creates problem? Definetly not, actually it is the evil desire of the human beings that creates problem. If government enhance the supervision of the information on the internet, those problems will disappear throughly.

I am always amazed when I hear people saying that when immigrant to another country when should keep our own customs. According to a survey that it is because that people often omit the shortcomings about keeping one’s own customs, and overlooks the merit of follow the customs of the new country. Consequently, I agree with the speaker’s view for massive reasons, however I will only explore few of them.
Life will be arduous while keeping your own custom. Consider, if you transfer to another school, you don’t choose to make friends with the new classmates, instead, you keep calling phones with your former classmates, will your be obscure or esteem? Definetely, it is easy to answer this question. Hense, when entering a new enviroment, in my persepctive, it is better to adapt to the new enviroment, not to adhere to your native customs, for it will aid you to get over the solitaries when entering a new country.
Currently, a great many xenophobians went to great length to alienate those immigranters. However, if we keep our own customs, we will act like as we are xenophobians of our own country, and that will give changes to support the statement of those xenophobians, which will be hazardous to us. There is an old cliche that ‘Do as the Romans do.’ According to a historian, a profound meaning lies in it that appealing to those inhabitants in this country will help you to win status in your destination country.
After we adapt to the life in that country, fundamentally, you are easier to communicate with other international inhabitants.
