为什么选B， 不能选A呢？？

为什么选D，不能选C呢？？

第一题　at a recent session 明确是一个时点，所以要用一般过去式．

第二题　the　表示特指，题目的意思原本担心年长的人会反对，但是后来发现无论年长还年青的人都很支持这项政府拨款．如果是我们自已翻译这句我们可能会用both young and old people.因为并没有出现特指的必要，如果你一定要强调特指那也应该是 both the young people and the old people. the 一出现后面一定要有名词跟着.你也许会说younger当名词用．如果是这样就不符合and平行对称原则了.

我的水平也有限，希望能抛砖引玉，有大侠路过指点一二，不至我误人子弟才是．
