这题答案是A, prep上解释说more than all the North American Great Lakes combined是作20 percent of the world's fresh water 的同位语。可是more 是形容词，为什么可以作同位语？

B项的注解中说了，more than twice as great as that不符合同位语构成方式。

第二道是讲究平行原则也就是more than前后比较对象须平行对等……..
