答案是C，LZM的解释是comparison表示比较的结果，comparing表示比较的动作，投资者做判断的依据应该是比较的结果而不是比较的动作，所以E错误而选C。这里面有一个很大的疑问，我查了longman辞典，comparison做“比较”讲的时候，是不可数名词，也就是说，这里面的comparisons是错误的。怎么解释这种矛盾？请NN指点。下面是longman的解释：

确实不大明白为什么E不正确。也许和base on的使用有关？
