答案是D，我选的C,感觉C比D简洁，than ever是习惯用法，没有错，更多的纸“more paper”的表达也应该没错。请问C到底什么地方错了呢？

more后面缺少了形容词吧？
就算是加上也似乎别扭。

像是 this year 修饰不清晰的问题，既可以修饰 expected 又可修饰 be recycled

1、more + adj/adv + than + ever/ever before/其他比较对象       常见

2、more than + number, 如 more than three hundred personality traits，也常见

3、more than + adv  如 more than merely 大全236

4、more than 表示量上的比较，如大全 652，大全 956
但通常不够精确，不如 the amount/number/density of  XXX is greater/higher than that of YYY 来得好，（注意不是more）。如本题
