我想是因为第一句话 only代表“genuinely curious about a topic”是“successfully learn about that topic”的necessary condition.学生们要是“enters the classroom with sufficent curiosity to learn”就不能“successfully learn about that topic”。所以为了让学生们可以“successfully learn about that topic”，老师要requires for the fulfillment of its goals the stimulation as well as the satifaction of curiosity。

it means that "inherent in the learning process" is not very important,which is not in accordance with the educatior`s means(argument).
