写了很长时间,参考了很多资料终于卸完了,请大家使劲地拍, 这是我第一篇作文,感触真深,从一动笔大脑一片空白,到终于写完,真是眼泪哗哗的. 21“Job security and salary should be based on employee performance, not on years of service. Rewarding employees primarily for years of service discourages people from maintaining consistently high levels of productivity.”
Obviously, employees' salaries based on years of service are often linked as monotony, low-efficiency, indolence and inferior yield. On the other hand, when employees’ salary is contingent upon their job performance, they will tend to work diligently and produce high levels of productivity. According to the above reasons, can we safely reach a conclusion that job security and salary should be based on employee performance, not on years of service? The answer to this question is irrefutable "No".After all, we cannot discard our left hands only because we use our right hands more frequently. The salary should based on employees' performance, while the years of services is also a must-consider criteria.
Firstly, the model of capitalism is proved to be the most efficient model that we have currently. The model of job security and salary completely on length of service years contradicts the foundations of capitalism which depend on competition and marketing. This model is outdated. Take the Former Soviet Union as an instance. The Former Soviet Union's salary system was so highly based on the employees' length of working years that such system lower the whole nation's workers' motivation, hinder the economic development and finally become one of the propelling factors of the collapse of this empire. To avoid such tragedy happen again, we must set the salary system to be based on the employees' job performance to motivate and encourage the employees.
What's more, We must admittedly consider that the long years of service of certain competent and industrious employee means the unswerving loyalty, sophisticated experience and wide networking of social relationship. In such changeable society with extremely keen competition, the employees' loyalty is precious to the company. You can hardly imagine how tough the company would be when one of its projects cannot carry on just because of some employees' irresponsible leaving. So the loyalty should deserve the reward. Moreover, the longer a employee works, the more experiences he can gain if he work hard with determination. Such experienced employee would help the fresh be more matured in their area. Therefore, we should give the experienced employees fair remunerate. Further, presently, interpersonal relationship is another kind of productivity, the long years of service can help the employee, especially in senior position, sum up the abundant human association and broaden the networking of relationship. This accumulation would indeed benefit the company. Consequently, such employee should be repaid.
In conclusion, We can make a certainly judgment that the employees' salary should mainly on the job performance with the indispensable consideration of the length of service. If the company manage these two criteria skillfully, it will do have a bright future.
